These lenses exert pressure on the cornea, which can help reshape the eye and potentially slow down the elongation of the eyeball that leads to myopia progression. However, the effectiveness of RGP lenses in controlling myopia progression varies from person to person, and it is important to consult with an eye care professional to determine the best course of action for managing myopia. Additionally, other factors such as genetics and environmental influences also play a role in the progression of myopia. **
